Honestly dude, you should wait . With a price cut and the AAA tittles coming out around that time, xmas would be perfect . Don't get me wrong, I love my ps3 but I'm using it for more then just games. So I'm cool with the limited tittle available.

Sounds like a better idea. i was going to wait a bit anyway for ratchet and clank to come out and that Uncharted: Drakes game.

Well that depends on how much want to play your old PS games. I haven't had any backward compatibily issue's, but I know you heard about sony taking out the emoiton chip in the ps3, which will limit old ps games being played on the ps3.

that is ok with me i dont have very many PS games that i play anymore. how much do you usually get for selling a PS2?
since the ps3 can play ps2 games getting rid of the console would lessen clutter but keep the ps2 games along with your psp stuff. Wait seriously and you'll have a wider selection of games also

Don't know. It's up to you. I can't tell you what to do with YOUR stuff. I sold my Xbox, PS2, and over 25 games to get the money for my PS3. I did this when PS3 was first announced so for a GOOD minute I only had games to play on a PSP. I'm happy with my PS3 and it has backwards compatiablitiy but I see that as a waste cuz A) the lack of rumble and B) who buys a next gen system to play their old games? Â

i sold my N64, NES, and Genesis back in the day in order to buy new stuff and now i regret doing so every day. so i advise hang on to your stuff. if i had it to do over again i would keep all my stuff.
i would sell it. but i dont like to keep things around i dont really use. I sold mine and kept only my favorite ps1 and ps2 games and they all work on my ps3. If u do get a ps3 there are great games. resistance, motorstrom, and nba 2k7 keep me entertained. I might keep the psp though remote play is really cool. plus sony will have downloadable movies so u can get those to your psp in the future with remote play anywhere in the world. That is making me consider getting a psp. Â

Yo seriously, i sold my lungue, some blood, some sperm, and my left nut. I got about 40 dollars for it all.

Didn't I read somewhere that PS3 isn't gonna price cut until atleast Summer 2008 or early 2009? Due to them losing so much money per console? (Well that's a given... Blue Ray readers cost like $900, and a PS3 costs 700 and has a blue ray reader)
