Seriously, the Warhawk servers **** so damn bad!

I love Warhawk for its gameplay, but I seriously refuse to turn the game on now. The stats, badges, ribbons and medals you earn don't update and half the time, you can't even play the game due to constant "network error" and "Verification error" issues at the sign-in screen, not too mention (though it's never happened to me) lot's of freezing complaints.

Stats aren't everything, but I've put on 30 hours since launch and I now seriously am trying to do something other than just kill random people. I almost have all the badges right now, but SHOULD have them all (bandit at least) if the freaking game would update!

How many online titles have you played on the PC prior to your experience with Warhawk? If you've played any at all you'd know the ranking and awards and so on take a while to update. BF2 was natorious for not ranking a player. I would spend 20+ hrs a week playing that game and wouldn increase my rank or receive any medals until a couple of days later.

Its not that big a deal.

BF2 was natorious for not ranking a player. I would spend 20+ hrs a week playing that game and wouldn increase my rank or receive any medals until a couple of days later.

Yes its tracking your progress along with the progress of thousands of other players so slowly but surely you rank and stats will be up to date

true even thought it really gets me mad that for 2 days now it has been saying that I have advanced in rank and whe nI see my reank am still the same as I began and my points or any riboons dont get recorded, am still glad that I get to play for free whenver I want. My game only froze like 4 times but continously so idk about you guys but it hasnt happend for 2 or 3 days now lol

Resistance is also very big online, and their servers just work smoothly. But I do hope the WarHawk servers get fixed, because it's quite anoying seeing your stats not updating.

Well, all of my stats update each time... not really sure why you're having a problem with that. There wasa time where it reset my stats back to scratch, I just quit the game & started again and voila, that fixed it.

As for getting on the servers... it hasn't been as big an issue as a lot of ppl complain about. Takes like 5 min to find a good round. But once you find a good rotation, you can play for hours w/o having to go back to a lobby which is awesome!

I've had a handful of "Server Full" and freezing issues. But those are far and few in between. My rank has been just fine throughout the Labor Day Weekend too.

Warhawk is awesome.

Yeah i bought warhawk online the day it was released in the uk but ive never played it since the first day as me and a few of my friends could rarely finish a game most of the time it would crash 10 mins into a game or crash at the end of every game, 90% of the time the servers were fine but in some games lag was really bad players would just warp around.

There definitly some problems to work out, and im unhappy about them people are saying give them time but i think the game should run on day one, things like the medals and little glitches are fine and expected to need a patch but the the game freezing and crashes the ps3 90% of the time is not fine.

I would have played it more but im trying to finish bioshock and ninja gaiden before i start playing it properly and also i dont have a blue tooth headset which will be here sometime this week so i will start playing it then.

But for me and my buddie's to pay £20 each hoping for some warhawk fun(because its awesome) have been disappointed as it was basicly unplayable because of it crashing out ps3's nearly every game.

I dont mind waiting on bugs and what not but really i feel this game should have come out a week or two later atleast when they had major issues worked out, somebody had to notice them.

Also it's too my understanding(i never played the beta) in a certain beta version you could turn motion controll on only for the warhawks and in this version motion controll on means every vehicle uses the six-axis i hope thats sorted soon as driving a tank with the six-axis is bad, i heard on the 1up yours podcast that they were working on this.

This game was supposed to be a launch title. After countless delays and a beta, I think there should not be any bug fixes.

Yeah, I feel this way sometimes too, but it's really not that bad. I was having issues the other day, and they definitely have some work to do to make this perfect, but you can still get into a game and play anytime, so I'm happy with it. I have my mood swings, but overall I'm way too happy with the game to care about the server problems. They will be fixed anyway, give it some time.

I've logged out as a Sgt, back in as a Recruit, then back in later as a Sgt, so I think that yes, they are being recorded.

seriously, i have never seen so many people whine over something so minor. stats and ribbons are a nice bonus, but having FUN is the bottom line.

the servers are fine, ive never had any lag. never had a frozen game either. for those of you who have, just wait it out. all online games have issues at one point or another, its the nature of the beast. bf2 wasnt uploading stats for months, so dont cry that this is a ps3 thing only.

Yeah this server timeout crap is starting to piss me off, i played one game today and ever since then i have not been able to play because of this network issue. I will probably get flamed for this but if your gonna make a free service at least have it perform right. I would honestly rather pay a yearly fee if it will always be up and running because i never have any problems with any of my 360 games playing on Xbox Live. I love this game but if i can't even play it then it's useless. I just tried it again right now and still doesn't work. Say what you want to me but i'm not gonna hide the way i feel because i might upset fanboys. I don't only own one system so i'm not gonna be biased towards one thing and not the other, if there's a flaw in it i will address it even if someone gets upset which i'm sure somebody will. TM1

this is hardly the first major online game for the PS3. Resistance has sold some 2 million copies. Motorstorm has sold over a million too.

Perhaps Incognito is just showing their youth and inexperience. These threads remind me of the Beta Tester experience. I was hoping those days were behind us. Guess not.
