Im picking up SF4 sometime this week and my older borther knowing how much i want it bought SF2 off of XBL. I've played for about 2 hours (this is my first SF) And i can't even get past the Thrid guy, single player on Easy.

So pretty much i suck more that anyone.

I haven't played any fighting game.

1 Is there any way to get better besides just practice, tips maybe

2.Is there a block button?

3.And why are the controls so confusing when i go onto the combo list it says like P in a red circle and when i go to controls it isnt there. This is confusing me so much. Whats up with that?

1. Practice. Go to training and make sure you can do all of the special moves consistently. Start with one character, like Ryu or Ken. Then beat arcade on easy. Then medium. then play with friends or online.

2. You don't know how to block? haha, jk. just hold the joystick back (away from your opponent). Down and back blocks low.

3. I agree with you on this one. Im not sure what a p in a circle stands for. They don't use that notation in SF4. There is a lot of terminology in this game, most of which I don't know. Im still a beginner, but imabsolutelyloving.
