It's true! Haha, seriously though, PSN is NOWHERE NEAR as "inferior" as people like to make it out to be. The community's active, although not presented as tight-knit as Live. Playing online works just as well and just the same. The main differences you might notice are less people with mics (depending on what games you're playing) and the current lack of Cross Game Voice Chat, which is rumored to be added in an upcoming firmware update.

It all depends on the game you're playing. The PSN itself has less features than XBOX Live. And considering there's more XBOX360 owner than PS3's, XBOX Live is bound to be more populated.

All that being said, of all the games I've played online, I've only had real, annoying lag with Punisher: No Mercy (PSN title). And I personally don't give a damn about what XBOX Live as more than the PSN.

It costs me zilch to play online and the PSN has many good to great titles. That's all I care about.

Yeah it's great. Works perfectly fine, plenty of people. And you can't beat free.

There are plenty of people playing PSN but it also depends on the games. Games like Uncharted 2, Socom, warhawk, and the COD games are probably the most popular. There will be plenty of people playing MW2.

Very, Veeery active. PSN is free and it's gold in my opinion. I wouldn't want to pay $50 a year for some online service.
