Yea as already stated I would look at the list of games for both the 360 and PS3. If more games appeal to you on the 360, then go with the 360. If you are looking forward to more games on the PS3 then get the PS3.
Here's a few PS3 Exclusives that look pretty promising:
-Heavenly Sword
-Warhawk
-Ratchet and Clank-Tools of Destruction
-Unreal Tournament 3 (only a timed exclusive but we still get more free maps, mods, etc. then the 360 version)
-Haze (not sure if it's timed or 100% exclusive)
-Metal Gear Solid 4
-Killzone 2
-Final Fantasy 13
-Final Fantasy Versus 13
-White Knight Story
And the list goes on. I am personally into fps/jrpg/action and that's why I kept my PS3 and retured my 360. It just feels to me like the PS3's got more diversity. I think it's also a good invesment because when blu-ray wins you won't have to buy a blu-ray player!
P.S. I returned my 360 because it broke, bought another one and returned it again because I didn't want to keep another faulty console incase it breaks. I bought my 360s, and PS3 at costco so if you want to return them at any time for full cash back you can. It just seems like the PS3's going to have a much more solid lineup for 08 then the 360 will.
