I rented the game from gamefly and it did not come with the code. Should I buy the game for $47.50? or just buy the EA pass which is $10.00 and just dont return it.

Doesn't Battlefield 3 on the PS3 come with Battlefield 1943 free?? If so, then you should totally buy it.
I was rather disappointed in it myself. I was and still am a huge fan of Bad Company 2, but this one just didn't live up to the excitement for me. I'm going with MW3 this year.
If your gonna buy any game like this for single player then no. For multiplayer then YES.I rented the game from gamefly and it did not come with the code. Should I buy the game for $47.50? or just buy the EA pass which is $10.00 and just dont return it.

[QUOTE="bblundell"]I'm enjoying BF3, but I haven't played the PS3 version.......I'm sure it's similar online experience minus the Battlelog that I'm used to. egger7577PS3 version has Battlelog access but max 24 players. Good to know....I thought that was only PC.
My only suggestion is to just buy the online passcode while you have the rental from GF. Try the game for a few days and see if you want to buy it. If not you are out about $5 from GF and $10 for the pass. If you do like the game, then just buy a used copy on Amazon for like $40. Thats what they were going for about a week ago. In the coming week or two it may be even cheaper used because of MW3 and all of the other releases that are taking attenion away from BF3. IMO it is a win win.
Just think, even if you hate the game and you are out $15, that is only as bad as seeing a crappy movie in the theatre. Your gambling stakes are low.
The best part is that if you love the game, which you probably will, then you already have the online pass and you can search for the cheapest used copy you can find. Retail chains don't really take into consideration the online pass when selling used games as far as I can see, but individual sellers on ebay and amazon will.
My response was longer than I anticipated, but I believe this is quite sound advice.
