I have lots of friends that I play with on both the xbox 360 and PS3 should I get GTA4 for both systems I know it will cost 120$ plus tax but ti would be cool because some most of my friends that live around me and hang out have xbox 360 and the friends on my PS3 are around the US and I still play alot online with them to but I just don't know if I should get both versions so I can play with all my friends just not some. This is the only game I was really thinking about buying both versions because it is such a huge release and I know I would play the game alot on both versions just don't know if it will be worth the 120$.BigSandbags9
Dude thats just overkill.
Well if you dont wanna blow $120 then decide who you'd rather play with.. It'd make more sense to play with local friends so you can meet at school the next day and be all like "Aww dude I totally freakin pwned you in GTA IV"
But hey, up to you.
Actually I would suggest you to just a collectors edition on the 360. I say that because it has the exclusive dlc. Otherwise save up for MGS4, you don't want to be short on money when that comes out.
I was actually thinking about doing the same thing. I knew this a while ago so I had saved up the money a long time ago, but I don't know if I want to go through with it.
My reasons are the same as yours, and I think I won't make a decision until it comes out. I'm definitely getting it for the PS3, but the main reason I would get it for the 360 is for the multi-player. I have a lot of family and friends on XBL, but not too many on the PSN.
I'm in the same situation aswell, but i'm just going to get it on the ps3, it just wouldnt' feel right without that playstation controller. And i don't see what the big deal is for the DLC. I really don't beleive in paying for something that should have been included in the game in the first place... on pc games get free maps and other free things. I don't understand why people tolerate paying for what should be free
