should I buy mgs4??

so far I have only played mgs3 subsistance out of the metal gear solid series...and i thought it was an ok game but nothing special cus all you mainly do is just crawl arround and wait for gaurds to walk away so you can countinue crawling..and I also didnt like the fact that the game was taking place in a jungle cus I prefer building/streets rather then nature locations...my friends told me that mgs 4 is very diffrent from mgs 3 and that i will probably like it cus it takes place in the middle of a war and cus the gameplay is much improved (and I do like stealth games cus I play splinter cell alot, and I also like fps games and my friend told me i can play mgs 4 as an fps)...so do u guys think I should buy it?

Dude just look all around you. I mean look at reviews of different people or just look at the MGS4 reviews on gamespot. Just about everyone says it's the ish, because frankly it it...

MGS4 has a little bit of every enviornment. From Mid-eastern village to jungles, and others which I will not mention, it may be a spoiler. Your friend was correct in his assesstment of the game, it is differnt from the last MG and the game-play has changed. YOu can use stealth or shoot your way through, stealth at times is the better option, but thats just me. The storyline is immersive and you get to understand why Snake is Snake and his family lineage. Get this game you willnot be disappointed.

Thanks for commenting everyone..really appriciate it..just have one more question: I remember that I used to hate the aiming system in metal gear solid 3 cus I couldent shoot in third person view cus that way I couldent aim the shot which was really annoying cus I had to keep on switching to first person view..and when I did the controls became very loose and made it hard to aim..so my question is how accurate is the shooting when in third person view and can I aim in third person view?

just aim by pressing L1 button and shoot by R1 and if u want First person view press L1 then Triangle
