Should i buy the Fat ps3 or Slim PS3 ?

I would really go for fat PS3 , if the Linux is worth in it ? Can anyone who really has a FAT PS3 & have installed Linux , Please answer the following :

1. Is the internet Browser on Linux a full version Browser (As in all websites can be Viewed, YOUTUBE,FACEBOOK,MAILS, CHATTING, ETC).
2.CAN WE INSTALL SOFTARES FOR DOWNLOADING STUFF DIRECTLY ON LINUX PS3 eg - Ktoreent, Utorrent , PEER TO PEER , ALSO
3.CAN YOU PLAY ALL KINDS OF VIDEOs (Resolutions supported ) & SONG FORMATs IN LINUX PS3
4.CAN WE INSTALL CHAT SOFTWARES ON LINUX PS3 ?
5. All in all , my Concern of the PS3 system is that since a very limited RAM , It would be very slow in working . Is that correct ?

Still i am all for FAT PS3 if it can run smoothly while running one application at one time (Because of the Low RAM)

I have already tried that. There is so much contradictory information out there .. one group says something the other something else. That's why i am posting this on Gamespot for some real gamers feedback who actually has installed it themselves & can tell the pros & cons

i have played slims and phatties (i own a phattie) and i love my phattie, it can do so much more, like if your an MGS$ fan, you can play all the prev MGS games and save it on a virtual memorie card, and it make the games AI in MGS4 better, plus it has extra stuff w/ psycho mantis.

theres benefits, but no new ones, if you want the extras, go w/ the phattie if you can get one, the gameplay is no dif, load time alittlebit longer (5-6 seconds, wich can be corrected by having an external raid calulator w/ 2 500GB HDD's in it, the raid calc has it's own powersourcel so the PS3 doesn't have to focus on it as much,, and it hooks to the PS3 w/ an eSATA to SATA cord, you format the drive from the PS3 and your good, "can you say terabytes? :D" i think you can also do this w/ a slim too)
