If you like the sport then yes. For me, I don't like playing or watching tennis, so no matter how good the graphic is or how good the game play resemble the real thing, I will not buy it.
I would echo what the others said, if your not a fan of the game of Tennis it doesnt make much sense picking this up, But if you are, I would DEF recommend this game... VT3 is pretty much Topspin for Xbox, w/ updated Players, Better Graphics, and a bit deeper season mode i think, players move and thier motions are exactly as if your watching them live. Overall if your a Tennis fan, this is a MUST have.
for what it's worth, i personally can't stand watching tennis on tv, and i don't particularly enjoy playing it in real life either, but virtua tennis 3 is the only game (not including downloadable games) that i've bought for the ps3 at this point. i personally love this game, though the lack of online is pretty irritating. if i had an xbo360, i'd probably buy it for that just for the online play.
