Should I DMZ my PS3 if my NAT is already open?

I was wondering if using DMZ on my router for my PS3's static ip would make any difference in my multiplayer connection if my NAT was already open without any configuring. Thanks.

I don't think it will do much, if anything. I always have it there because I've had problems with my NAT type before so I always make sure it's there anyway.
