i have heard stories from soldiers that have taken their PS3 to iraq with them into 120 degree weather and they stillrun like champs

It look very cool to me and only 24 bucks........... and you never know if using it could extend the life of your unit a couple of years........

i play 6+ hours almost every sunday or every other sunday and its still going strong and i have had it since december

dont use one you dont need one.for ps3 they might work fine but for 360s theres been tons of problems since they suck power away and was makeing it crash lots and sometimes damage it. and this was what microsoft said.but i dont know about the ps3 i wouldnt get one just to be safe

As long as the console is well vented, there is no need for a cooler of such sorts. I dont think that it can get THAT hot after playing an average amount of hours...
