im wondering if i should even though im going to get one maybe next year, is the price going to go down? and are there going to be any new games? because im mostly getting psp for the gta games!
NO! Take it from someone who has a PSP. See the DS is actually fun. The games on the psp are boring IMO (unless you like metal gear solid) I know you can download music, videos, and pictures but really, if you've got an ipod its 3x better. You have to pay for extra memory to store only around 100 songs videos and pictures, instead on an ipod you can get the whole package. Get a DS + Ipod... save yourself lol

Yes get one even if it is only for the GTA games. The GTA games translate so well onto the psp it feels just like you're playing on ps2 and the graphics aren't hindered at all. Don't get a ds. The only way you want to get a nintendo handheld is if it's last generation and you know you aren't going to have the crappy version a few months after you buy it. Nintendo likes to manufacture their new handhelds and then make them outdated a few months when you still thought it was fairly new. They did it with the Advance when it was released, and then what, not even two years later the sp comes, and they make the ds, and two months later the ds lite comes.
Yea I would say go with the PSP being an owner of both PSP and DS but thats just my opinion because I find that there are more games that apeal to me on the PSPÂ

yea i have both and DS games r a little too childish for me. only game i really play/enjoy is mario kart. psp has so many other games that r much cooler. graphics rnt even worth talking about... because the PSP dominates DS in graphics. if i were u, just get a psp, u will not be disappointed.

The PSP also has plenty of other great gaming moments to be had, and some extra features which u may find useful. I bought one because they are useful to me. Now to answer you question...2 months ago i would have agreed that the PSP's lack of great games would make the PSP a No buyer but the great game have been starting to show up now that the PS3 is out making the PSP a Good buy and a lge777 recommend ..and Sid Meier's Pirates i have been completely hooked making Pirates the1st PSP that has held my attention for long then 2 hours of gameplay...SO YES PSP IS NOW TURNING INTO A GREAT SYSTEM.

I think the PSP is the best handheld system out there but the battery power stinks. If you get one, be ready to charge the baattery a lot and I reccomend SOCOM Fireteam Bravo 2
This is the catch with the PSP it tries so much to be a console that you get lost in the experience that is if you have owned other portables before. It tries to do all things that the consoles do that's why people hate it so much. It plays video, music, photos which I totally do not use, put that all aside & just look at the gaming aspect & you will see the difference in games for DS & the PSP. PSP games are more like home console games while DS is like pick up & play.
Everyone can shut the hell up about DS's in here. PSP's sleep mode makes it pick up and play, irrespective of what game you're playing. And just cause some of you dont use the multimedia or other PSP features doesnt mean that they're useless. I constantly use all the other features. And i still refer to the original post, where D_Slims wanted to play GTA on PSP. The Nintendo DS HAS NO RELEVANCE HERE PEOPLE !!! Which leads us to the "Anti-free speacher" above who made the good point that if your're gonna come to a psp forum, leave your DS fanboy bull*** at the door. There's a place for free speech regarding the DS, its just in another forum where people actually want to hear it. D_SLIMS - If you wanna play GTA on a portable system, buy a PSP. If you want an all-rounder that has a great selection of games and can provide multi-media functionality too, and a decent enough battery (I rate 6 - 8 hours of playtime) the also buy a PSP. If you want a handheld that gives you licence to be an idiot that spends more time trying to convince others (who aren't interested) of how bad their chosen system is compared to yours, then seems like the DS may be for you. But going on your original posts, sounds like you belong in the PSP category.

i say yess you can do a lot more things with a psp then a ds. and pretty soon you can take pictures(it it comes out into the us and such). now tell me, can you do that with a ds. if ur fan of gta you might want to get liberty stories or vice city. my friend has vice and says its pretty good on the psp. and there going to be good games out for the psp like rainbow six and graw2
if you are interested in the games and features the PSP has to offer then go get it. there's a growing library of hot games and the features the system offers is cool so now is a great time to pick up a PSP!

WILL EVERYONE SHUT UP ABOUT THE PRICE DROP, ITS NOT ANNOUNCED BY SONY. Sony will not do a price drop for a while. As for good games, LOOK AT THE GAMES URSELF. I'm not ur servant
well thats i have ds and psp....ok nintendo makes great animated games its very good for cartoonic and stuffok sony on the other hand is a lil of everything....so yeah i wo uld go with the psp becouse u have a lil but of everything in one odject for example: musik,videos,emulators (if u know how 2 do it) all these well graphic games. i love my ds as well but not as much my psp :D
