Should I get A PS3? Opinons Welcome.....

You should get a ps3. But i would say get it in summer, till then more exclusive games will come out such as Lair, Warhawk, heavenly Sword and also some multiplatform games that will expand the ps3 library.

I bought the ps3 and i simply dont regret getting it because i dont only use it for gaming also for movies and as an entertainment hub. and i really think this cool device is worth the 600$.

again if u wanna buy one, look at the games comming out soon if u like any then get it when those games are out. So i'd say summer is the perfect time to get a ps3.

If you are like me and already own a 360 and have alot of games then there is really only two games out for it at the moment.  resistance and motorstorm.

I planned on waiting to get a PS3 untill some more good games came out but i changed my mind.  I thought i may as well play the two games now for the PS3 amd just wait untill more games comes out.  The prices is going to be the same for at least 6 months.

If you don't have a 360 then i would consider both the PS3 or the 360. Make your choice on the games out and coming out. 

If i didn't have any console then i would buy the 360 first but it all down to peoples taste.  At the moment 360 has better games and better online.  Also alot more games are out for the 360.  I might change my mind which system i preffer next year when there is more PS3 games.

I must admit i was a little weary when getting my ps3 but i though i have the money i'll get it, and i tell you what im no fan boy to any console i have all 3 and im a big fan of the 360.
But i notice when i turned on the ps3 no sound it the quietest piece of kit which has so much hardware in tht u wud think it be a jet engine but no so quiet. 
I tell you that i could sell the ps3 to anyone just with one game and thts motorstorm, i'm not big on racing games but that is quality, ps3 is worth it rite now for tht game alone so i cant wait till the others come out plus the movies on blue ray r spot on.

Hey everyone, I am thinking about buying a PS3 but I am a little leary about getting one. Theuy seem like they haven't sold too many in the US, and there does not seem to be many games out for it. So I wanted to ask people that actually own one. Do you guys like your PS3's? Do you regret buying one? And if i get one what games should I buy first. I already have my eyes on motorstorm. any info would help alot thxBuddhaManJB

Since you really don't plan on taking advantage of the additional multimedia function, I would say wait. The good games aren't coming out until summer or early fall. Over all I'm happy with my ps3, because it's becoming my main media hub. So the lack of games(FOR THE PRESENT MOMENT) don't frustrate me.

Get one now. There are a ton of games to hold you off until even more come out. I really don't get why people keep saying there are no games out for it or that they suck because I've played EVERY game there is for it and I've yet to even hit the surface of bordem. I guess most of the owners are just whiners and not real gamers anyways. I'm just so sick of hearing the same thing over and over. For those bord or thinking there are no good games, SELL YOUR CRAP..........THAT IS IF YOU EVEN HAVE ONE.GamersNightmare

I agree with him. Although there are some sucky games for the ps3 but its like any new console. They also have really great games as well like fall of man, motorstorm,oblivion, NHL 2k7, Call of duty 3 is a good online game as well. Just buy it. Those games will keep you busy till the summer plus you will get use to the PS3 interface. There are a couple of people ive seen on these boards that bought the ps3 but werew upset iwth the interface and online setup.They were just used to the 360 set up. idiots. they cant expect it to be the same.
