You'd find out with a little research. Anyways, wait for the tokyo game show if they announce a new psp.

The 3000 has a microphone, good for online matches, but otherwise it's mostly just another 2000. They say the screen is more vibrant, but they said that, again, with the 2000.

If you already have a 2000, there aren't strong reasons to switch to 3000. It's basically the same with minor changes that do not worth buying a new PSP.

I gotta admit though, that mic is a pretty nice feature. Us 1000 users can't get a microphone. If you have a 2000, you can buy a seperate microphone accessory.

i have a very beat up 1000 right now, the analog nub is moving slightly on its own, and the bottons are feeling loose. I have had this 1000 for 4 years so i was wondering if upgrading to a 2000/3000 would be worth it, if so which model

The psp 3000/brite has really a better screen. If you play on a 3000 for a year then play on a 2000, you really notice the difference!

if you have a 2000 already, I wouldn't get a 3000, I own 2 2000's and the 3000 or GO doesn't offer too many reasons to get them

don't listen to this stupid 2000 fanboys. The 3000 screen is awesome and you should have no problem with the scan lines! And if you still don't listen to me, fine, I don't care.

They are almost the same. You should stick to the PSP 2000. I have a PSP 1000 and I don't feel the need to upgrade. The games matter more to me.

they're just a different models with no sigficent changes, any of them will do, but the 3000 is better if i had to chose.

also i'd highly advise you to wait for TGS though.

i had both 2000 and 3000. Not sure why people say they dont notice much of a difference.

When playing Monster Hunter the 3000s colors were wayyyy better than the 2000.
