Yes. You will have a whole new library of games to play, along with the ability to play music and movies.

Yes. I've had my DS since one day after Launch, and I bought my PSP last month. I got the PSP 3000, and it's awesome! There are quite a bit of games that I want to buy for it. :D

Yes, and now is a good time to be buying it. A lot of new games are releasing for it that'll probably interest you. And plus if you're college student, the PSP will amaze you with its flexibility - can be used to play games, music and a whole slew of cool stuff.

Go for it... a lot of good games are coming out like Dissidia. I played the JP version and it was amazing.

i would say NO, dont get it

i dont consider consoles the same thing as handhelds because handhelds in my opinion are more if your sitting in a waiting room or waiting for class to start where you only have 15 min or so. you already have a DS which is the more popular of the 2 handhelds so i would either save up for another x360 or grab some cool games for the ds that are coming out like chinatown wars and pokemon platnum and chrono trigger

I have both because there are a lot of great PSP games. It depends on what you want to play really.

What PSP games that you want? I got PSP, yesterday. I loved several PSP games that I wanted Tekken 5 DR, Lumines, and others. I already own DS, too. I loved it too.

If you have a DS, then all the more reason to buy a PSP! lol think about it; Loads of new, exclusive titles with brilliant graphics on a wide screen, an analog stick, ability to play movies and music and look at photos when on the go, Internet access, etc. Plus, the price of the PSP is about the same as the DS now. :)

Yeah get a psp, it's always better to have a wider range of games to choose from.

I'd say do some research and make sure there are some games you want to buy. I've had friends see my PSP and tell me it's so awesome, but then they buy one and complain that there aren't enough shooters, or there aren't enough platformers, and sell it back. It helps if you're an all-around type of gamer and are interested in pretty much every genre.

If you are an all around type, then the PSP is perfect for you.
