I have had my eye on this game for awhile now, but the short length is really holding me back. Should I get it?

No way. Its an awesome game, but rent it. I rented it and beat it in 5-6 hours. Replay value=0.

its an extremely satisfying game and i loved the use of the sixaxis (anyone who says throwing a body across a brigde and controlling him by using the sixaxis isnt hilarious is lying) i would go for it

It's a good game. For me, the fun factor warrants multiple playthroughs and Kai's missions is ubUr pAwnz :0 :0 :0

Definently, it is an AWESOME game, renting it may be a good idea. Matters how good you are at the sort of game HS is.

yes I think its even better than God of War in terms of quality and fighting style and story, voice acting etc. There is replay value such as trying to get all 3 glyphs for each part or doing the game in challenge mode etc...

I would say buy it to me this is a game where I will complete once then probably leave it alone for a few months before picking it up again to carry out some random mass killings or i find something new and want to try it. Its also the only game like it I have played.

 No kidding guys.

As most have said, YES...go buy it. It's a bit on the short side but the graphics, story, presentation, animation, voice acting and story telling are so good, and the combat is so satisfying that you'll likely want to play it through a few times. Maybe not back to back, but I'm sure you'll get the want to play it every now and then.

I've already beat it 3 times and I still load up chapters now and then just to relive how awesome it is. I know it won't be long before I pop in back in and get amazed all over again.

I don't even have to think twice in saying that Heavenly Sword if my favorite game to come out this year and my only regret was that I waited a few weeks after it came out to buy it. It's a masterpiece and nobody should miss out on it.

Agreed, you have to experience the greatness of this game. It's short, but it does have replay value IMO. I enjoyed going through the game multiple times.

Jesus people, what ever happened to Quality over Quantity? On average it takes most people about 8 hours to complete the game, but those hours are some of the best gaming in the history of video games. This game oozes quality and is akin to interacting with a well made eight hour movie.Only trolls and ps3 haters whine about game length, most of them have probably not even played the game. Don't be one of those fools who miss out on a damn awesome game. Remember, quality > quantity, and as good as HS is, there isreplay value up the yin-yang.
