Should I get The Orange Box now?

I wanna ask, is The Orange Box worth it to buy right now in 2008? Cause I didn't get my PS3 earlier, so I was considering of getting it. Is it any good? Reviews for it are great though. And yeah, does the PS3 version include HL:Episode 1 & 2?

Yes. The Orange Box contains: Half-Life 2, Half-Life2: Episode 1, Half-Life 2: Episode 2, Portal and Team Fortress. I got it recently and am somewhat enjoying it. Resistance I have and personally I think it's lame, the gameplay gets very repitive and the story drags on for too long.

^^ Probably hasnt even played it. The only thing different about the PS3 version is that the load times are quite a bit longer. Other than that, there's nothing different, and the load time problem isnt that bad anyway.

The game has a great price/worth ratio. 5 games, although not their best version, for the price of 1 disk is a great value (and noe that the game is retail, even better).

Loading times are long, online is often laggy and it has the worst support and content of the 3 versions (PC, PS3 and 360), but if it this version is your only option, then go for it...

I didn't buy this game new because I refused to support a crappy port. This game DID/DOES have issues. IF you say it doesn't then your in denial plain and simple or havn't played through all the games. The patch took care of most of the problems but there are VERY long load times and also I've had mine freeze on me a few times as well. This game is still worth the $25 price tag you can find it at gamestop for that much or even $29.99 brand new at some places.

It's worth it but just make sure you get the patch.

Edit: the online community is virtually non-existant on the ps3.

i got the ps3 version before i got the 360 and there is a big difference compare TF on the 360 to the TF on the PS3 and youll see
