ive been saving up for a while now and i have no idea what to get with my money.....so for a while i thought about it. then it came to....three letters: PSP.

so i just have a few questions:

1. what are the lmitations of online play?

2. does sony still support this console? i mean the ds is already dead.

3. is there a fee for playing online?

yeah go ahead the psp is great depends on how much money you got the online play is awsome and there is no fee if your  going to play online get socom its awsome and sony still does support the psp  i heard that god of war is coming to the psp  and oblivion is to  i cant wait untill those come out  i think the psp is much better than the ds pluse you can surf the internet on the psp  so i hope this helps

yea get the psp. there is no limit and online is free. sony still supports this console.

how does online work? i know that ad hoc is wirless and has limeted range but what about infrastructure?

well you need a router in your house if you have that then need to get the wirless thingy your psp has a built in lan device you can go to like micdonalds or somewhere else that has a wirless network

wow.....well hopefully ill be getting onw of those in the holidays (april 6 i live in new zealand). which is the most played online game? do people still play wipeout pure cause its in the shop for 20NZD

No infrastructure mode for wipeout pure... but you can download extra tracks etc online. Games worth playing online atm: - Socom 1/2 - MOH: Heroes - Ratchet & Clank, size matters probably Killzone aswell, multiplayer is in beta-testing. Only like 1/3 --> 1/2 of the games offer infrastructure mode and few of them have active players or decent multiplayer except for those mentioned above. I dont know if other people know of any other games where the infra.-multiplayer is worthawhile?

thanks man. hmmmmmmm at the moment it looks like socom is where im looking at most......i can probably get wipeout aswell.

Go the PSP is a PS2 on yoyr hand it might be a little expensive but its worth it. Its has everything photo, music video and internet.

the re-design is still in process of being created...they just now released that the rumors of re-design are true. it will probably be a while before its released. so basically, it depends how patient you are.

If there will be one, it will only affect the design and perhaps add build-in memory...
itll make no difference for the software
