should I just get a new ps3 bundle?

I heard that they relased a new ps3 slim that had a better chip or something to reduce like overheating?.....

anyways should i just like a new ps3 slim?

I have the 80 gig b/c motorstorm ps3 and its failing on me in terms of blu ray laser not reading the discs very well

I just ask because my dad mentioned it

he was thinking like 320 gb bundle

I know its cheper to just repair my old one

but in the long run do you think the old fat ps3 would be able last?

once something of it gets deffective doesn't the whole thing follow suit?

I have an 80gb that is working fine, if you watch a lot of movies blu ray and cant its up to you, it will cost you 149.99 + shipping just to send it in not matter what the problem is if you give it to sony. They also have a deal where they offer a refurbished slim 120 GB and charge you only 119 + shipping. If you have the money its up to you maybe get a new bundle then send in the other one later to have it fixed and possibly get the slim replacement.

i got a 320 gig slim on top of my 160 gig (and 60 gig launch model that got ylod) recently too..was gonna get the move anyway and wanteda second ps3 for downstairs so i got the move pack which was a good deal cause the two games u normally get for free i already owned anyway, so the move was a good replacement for that..
