Should I open it?

So, I recently got a PS3, but I made a deal with gf that I wouldn't open it till christmas. Today I'm home alone and the PS3 is next to me in it's box, it's been there for a week and I haven't open it.

Should I violate my woman's trust and open it? Or should I wait?

Dude open it and inspect it cuz I bought a new 80 gig PS3 Saturday and got it home and the PS3 it self was broken in the box,,yes the case of the PS3 was broken so open it and make sure its ok.

I did! I have a brand new Samsung HDTV which have never seen true HD other than over the air stuff. I really can't wait! I need to buy an HDMI cable before I plug it in though.

Because it's my x-mas present :D And even though I'm 23, live with my gf and pay my own bills, I'm a little kid inside and if I get what I want now, I'll want something else for xmas. ^__^

Its all about productive thinking. Maybe don't even make a deal with her. Just let her open it and then you can say, "I let you open yours..." :)

Make sure that you at all costs do not touch the finish! It will be fairly obvious that you opened it if you do.AnFangs_Endes

I already opened it and made completely sure not to do touch it. I had to put it back though my mind would play tricks on me otherwise and I would feel guilty. It's uber shiny though I think I might buy a cool looking skin so dust doesn't stick too much.
