The only game I know that won't impress you that much because of using a stnrd TV is SF2 HD Remix, it looks good but you won't be able to appreciate lots of detail, like faces and how hadukens shatter once they hit
very crappy...like a ps2, once ur used to seing it in hd, when u see it in standard, or a ps2 or even gamecube, u get blinded, but hey man, at least u got a ps3, some (9 million ppl, cant or didnt buy the ps3), so out of those 9 mil, u out of ALL of em, finally has one, u should appreciate this moment, and value it, no matter how crappy it looks in a standard tv, its passable, only to the ones that werent gifted into seing it in hd first, like i said once u see it on a 52 inch 1080p tv, especially mgs4...and cod4...wooo its that awesome
I would never discourage anyone from buying a PS3 but once you play games on an HDTV you'll wonder how you ever lived without it. I'd say get the PS3 then save for an HDTV.
