Should I pay 50 bucks for HDMI cables or just buy ones on amazon for 10?

I would actually really like to know this too. And really is there a big difference with the cables?

Go for the $10. The difference between them is almost nonexsistent, the $50 cables are a rip-off.

Do not buy the expensive ones. The cheap ones do the exact same job. HDMI is digital, so this gold plated oxegen free etc is a load of bull. The one i have connected to my PS3 cost me £5 approx 9/10bucks and it works great :). Trust me the cheap ones do the same job as the expensive ones ;)

The answer is obvious. Go for the less expensive one.

buy a cheap one, but not a ridiculously cheap one. chances of it rusting from the inside sooner than expected are big. i think the gold cables (that costs almost more than a PS3...) aren't necessary, but they never get old. of course, you're probably a regular person that doesnt need gold in everything you have, so go with the regular cables :P

I work at best buy..you wouldn't believe the mark up on crap like that..$4 for a $70 (Rocketfish) brand cable..rediculous..now that said, I will add that there can be a difference..make sure you get a high class rating cable..the higher the class the faster the transfer rate, and you can see a difference with that higher transfer rate..thats my 2-cents
