I've heard that if you have a certain fat PS3 if it breaks you can 100 dollars for a Slim replacement, is that true? If so would I be able to do that from Australia if my PS3 were to break?Feb9Bioshock2hmm, dont worry man, as long as u got the money, its best to buy a new one if it breaks, but lets hope it wont, just be prepared and ready, and cross the bridge when u get there :)
I think we've all been tempted by a thinner better performing version before, but your phatty is more experienced and is performing well. It knows tricks the thinner version just can't do. Unless you've fallen out of love with it and can't trust it to be faithful, you should keep it.

However i am not sure for which PS3's they are doing that for, my 60gb died and i was going to turn it in but could not in the end since i did not have the original HDD.
If it's working, why get another one? Just keep your system and save your money andif it breaks get another one.
