Should I sell Oblivion because of Vampirism?

I have the Game of the Year Adition of Oblivion. I have Vampirism. I was going to do the quest to cure it but I read where one of the ingrediants for the cure doesnt show up and you cant give it to the lady to use it the cure. Thus you are stuck with Vampirism. I dont think I can play this game if I start dying when I go out in the sun.

Is there any point in being a vampire where you dont die in the sun?

Should I just take my copy of the game to Gamestop and sell it while I have an extra 25% trade in cupon?

I had the same problem, theold hagof a witch wouldn't take me sweet blood grass off me. You have 2 keep drinking blood off da village people, which lets you walk around basking in the sun 4 a day or so. Then back 4 a midnight blood guzzle. I stopped playing it because of this and have still got the game but can't be bothered sparking it up again. So sell I say n get the mighty killzone 2 to quench ya sweet blood thirst.

Me and my brother have the same game, we both got Vampirism and we both got cured by doing the quest... also if you're trying to avoid Vampirism I think once you're bitten and you're wearing the Knights of theNine armor you can go to the big shrine in any church and you're cured, before you become a vampire, seems to work for me.
