I just bought my PS3 and have been playing Infamous 2 alot. Meaning that I have gotten pretty far into the game. I never played Infamous 1 though... Should I stop playing #2 and start Infamous #1? Or should I continue with Infamous 2 until I beat it and then go to #1? Thanks.
Finish what you started. You got the Infamous 2 PS3 320Giger bundle. So have fun with it. You can always play the first one later.

Cool thanks and I didnt get the bundle with it. I actually got the 160GB bundle with Big Planet and Ratchet and Clank. I just bought Infamous 2 because I figured it would be better since it was newer. But now I wish I would have started with #1. But its all good... and having fun either way ;-)

Well if you're already deep into the game there's no point in turning back, I'm fairly certain you're confused about certain things such as who Kessler is.
You finish the game you started, but some of the biggest plot points won't make much sense at all unless you play the first inFAMOUS game

Yea I am thinking I will stop playing and buy #1 tomorrow and start playing that so it will all make sense, I really didnt know what to expect and never knew it would have such a great compelling story behind it since I am new to PS3 and havent really gamed since the Sega Genesis days...lol I got alot of catching up to do :-) Thanks for all the advice guys.

Yea the game play is pretty awesome and the story as well for #2 and I would shelf it and play #1 first so it all makes sense. Otherwise you just get little hints of the original story but alot of the rest you will just have to wonder or guess.
You learned everything the first game has to offer in the very beginning of inFAMOUS 2, so play it out and go back and experience how those events unfolded through the first game when you are finished. There isn't a rule that says you HAVE to play the first game in a set of a series. Most games have a summary in the beginning to explain what you may have missed.
You should have played Infamous 1 first, the sequel is a huge improvement gameplay wise and it would be hard to go back to Infamous 1... They both have there strong points, the story in the first game is much better but the gameplay is a tad boring dare i say. Number 2 the story takes a back seat and its all about the gameplay. Quite nice actually, i like how they did that. (The story in 2 is not bad, just not as interesting.) Overall Infamous 2 is the better game imo, gameplay > story in a game.
inFamous 1 is still a damn fun game, but I think you should have played it first.
Still, for the story its definitely a game you should play, but some of the best moments were the surprises, which will obviously be less surprising when you know what happened.
