I think it shouldn't

Not really necessary. The mission creator is more than enough to extend the game's longevity. Multiplayer would be a bit much (and likely tacked-on).
Yeah it should stay has single player.

No some games aren't ment to be multiplayer. Look at Bioshock 2 if you don't believe me.

Yeah I agree. I thought Uncharted should've stayed single player also.
Uncharted 2 online was fine because it was different from the other online shooters. It was fun and simple. I think it's great they added it in. But all the costomization options shown in the new MP look like it was turning into COD. Which I am having mixed feelings about this. Something also tells me the SP wont be as good.
Pointless. The game doesn't need it and any community it gains will be almost non-existent in a couple of months.
The LBP style creation option they have planned is a much better use of their time.
Yeah it should stay has single player.

I don't know. NaughtyDog is really great, and I trust them completely. Their first shot at multiplayer was also pretty good in my opinion!Noooope.
Love inFAMOUS, plenty of greatness without trash multiplayer... so sick of it these days. Since the PSN has been down, I've really been enjoying completing the single player games that I never completed before. Working on Assassin's Creed Brotherhood finally right now, which is amazing! And also goin' through Portal 2 and loving it. Almost done completing it unfortunately :( Maybe when the PSN comes back though I'll get on some co-op, haha
Noooo, please Sucker Punch keep it single player only.
Coop would be the only kind of multiplayer i will welcome.
Imagine running around the city with your bud completing missions and stuff.
Would be cool I think.Don't just tack on the multi for thelabel on the back of the box.
I never want to see multiplayer in inFAMOUS! It's my favourite new IP this gen and that would just mess with the series. Especially if they attempted co-op in the single player. UGGG *shudders*
I think co-op would work better than competitive modes in Infamous, if there was to be a multiplayer feature. You could each have a different set of powers or something. If there was to be a competitive feature, they would have to adjust some powers to balance it out and improve the cover system.
Yes, co-op probably would work better than multiplayer. However, I say that no game developer (regardless of the genre and target audience) should be afraid to include more than just single-player. And even if that doesn't come out very good, its game designers can always make further changes, until everything feels just right. It's probably inevitable that co-op and multiplayer will be found in more games, even ones that are primarily SP-only like RPGs, adventure games, etc. And excluding other game modes only hinders innovation. So, I definitely think that we need more Sony-owned game franchises to tackle the co-op and multiplayer path, if we are going to see the PS3/PS4 dominate with its popularity and sales. Also, it'll be more likely to draw in new people, which is a good thing.
A lot of SP-only gamers here will probably complain and say otherwise. Yet, game developers' misdirection and/or mismanagement is the biggest factor in a game failing to deliver up to its hype than including additional modes of play. It's a myth to say that SP will die or that a game's overall value will go down after it includes co-op and/or MP.
if they did it right then sure.
im thinking they could do something like what GTA 4 did with multiplayer were it has players working together to do missions.
either that or they could heavily balance out the powers and do a deathmatch multiplayer based thing.
