[QUOTE="campbell1874"] [QUOTE="DerMeister90"]It is my expierence at Gamecrazy that Sony's exclusives are just fine. Yeah, the 360 does get ALOT of exclusives. However, look at this way, beacuse this is what customers tell me. When a game comes out for BOTH platforms, the 360 seems to accelerate...BUT the PS3 has the best exclusives available to it. Infinite Undiscovery, Gears, and Zoid's Assault haven't reached the amount of sells that Metal Gear Solid 4 has. Just hold on buddy... Resistance will take on Gears 2, and Killzone 2 will finally put Halo 3 out of action. Our time will come, my friend.DerMeister90
I thought Gears of War had higher sales than MGS4. I thought Gear was about 4.5 million and MGS was around 3.5 million last time i looked. How much was the sales figures on MGS4?
TC i think Sony should have put their hand in their pockets and paid to keep Final Fantasy a PS3 exclusive because this game going to the 360 hurt the PS3. People know that the 360 has a bigger RPG line up but didn't mind so much as they thought one of the favorite RPG games series Final Fantasy would be a PS3 exclusive. When it went to the 360 then it just made the PS3 look even weaker for RPG fans.
I think sony should invest in DLC for there own exclusive games before they start to look at buying multi-plate exclusives.
Sony has used the same hardball tactics as MS when they first came on the market and had to go against the very popular Saga and Nintendo. At the end of the PS2 life Sony had no real competition for games so they didn't need to continue to buy exclusive right to games. It sSony own fault that they just assumed games would stay exclusive to the PS3 without giving any money to these companies to stop them selling on other system to increase there profits.
Quite sorry...I am speaking on behalf of the German numbers. In Germany, my homecountry, and in Russia, Metal Gear Solid 4 is HUGELY popular. Yeah, we do have to import most of our games, but hardly anybody over here has a 360. So I was only assuming that the numbers were somewhat the same in America. Gosh, this whole American internet thing is messing me up. Things are different here, than in Germany, I apologize. The sales figures i mentioned was for worldwide sales. If your going to stat a fact based on one contry only then you have to say that at the start on gamespot as their is a lot of people from different contries who use gamespot.
Just to make it more confuing with the World internet thing is that am from Scotland.
