Honestly... I've had a PS3 since 2007... I've just recently bought the Slim and I'm giving my PS3 to my parents to use as a Blu-Ray player. I've been reading on SEVERAL forums that people are enraged and mad at the fact that Sony pulled the ability to play PS2 games on the Slim. LOL Soooooo what? Honestly, I understand the argument by pepole but at the same time... it doesn't matter to me. I didn't play any PS2 games on my PS3 yet, never installed Linux or had a reason to want to. I think Sony could still release downloadable software emulation if they want and just charge a one time fee for it. But... I understand their reason for discontinuing to have it on PS3 as default... they are trying to push the PS3. Do you really care if there's no PS2 support? At $299, with all the features of the PS3... I don't miss it nor ever used it. What do you think?
ALSO... it's kinda weird but you can still see the virtual PS/PS2 memory card on the Slim to create saved games. So does this mean we may see software emulation??? :?
