Sick of LBP already

I'm getting tired of hearing about all the stuff you can do in LBP. It seems like every two weeks we get yet another video about all the cool creator stuff you can do. Wow, look what these students did. Hey I have an idea, instead of making videos, how bout just release the ****ing game.

Sorry, just seen too many threads about how excited everybody is, I am too, but let's get this game out already.

Just wanted to let you know that all the hype is well deserved, I was lucky enough to get one of the 5800 beta keys, and it is amazing!!! Sorry for adding to your annoyance, but i'm just so blown away that i wanna tell the world! =)

Maybe because the game is deffinitively not aimed at your kind of gamer.

Strangely enough I am not digging the big new releases (Apart from LBP of course)

I'm in no way excited by the amount of FPS games that we've got coming out in the near future.

To be honest, I'm more excited about Wipeout HD, Burnout on PSN, LBP, Megaman 9 and Guitar Hero World Tour.

But, I am getting myself a camera and a new HDD ready for LBP

^ This. Except, I'm not getting Fifa 09 or Far Cry 2. I'm looking forward to Silent Hill V and Resistance 2. LBP looks fun for a while but seriously, I'm all alone home and coop won't help me and I can't see myself putting alot of hours in this. I'm more into 1 player kind of games than coop and I know LBP has 1 player too but it looks it's going to be boring after 2 hours to be honest. Nothing special. No story, no boss battles and no guns. And for me it's not even worth the 60$ or in my case 70$(where I live).

Fifa 09... how can you be excited about yet another damn soccer game that seemed to be the same forever? Farcry 2... another open world shooter... saints row 2... gosh, where's the originality and creativity?

Your definition of "not alot" must be very interesting. Cuz probably 3 - 4 million poele to you aren't a lot of poeple.

LBP seems like it is going to be fun.....but not worth 60 bucks.It kinda looks like a game that they would release on PSN,but then again alot of games are not worth 60 bucks.K1LLR3175

yeah... if you don't like to play as a lil italian and get from one end of a map to the other... or a hedgehog that runs to the other end... eh... I mean... they're all simplistic ideas... Maybe you are just the action/FPS oriented person... reasonable enough

Im certainly not just an FPS person and I agree that there's a lack of creative titles on PS3. But LBP just not been able to convince me on how epic a game its gonna be it seems like something that would be fun for a while and get boring real fast. Also with titles like Silent Hill 5 and R2 and many many more im surprised people are getting so excited for an interactive platformer the idea is fun but I doubt this can stack up to already great platformers like megaman etc. except for its customizable features.

Platformers are what I wish were more often created for the PS3. This is like the first good platform game I seen and I can't wait to get it. Sadly, I'm not finding Silent Hill 5 to be interesting though I love the series, R2 is just my type of FPS to play.

But on topic you always hear tons from a game before it's released .. especially at a game like LBP .. deal with it or don't go onto boards.

LBP isn't my type of game and I'm not getting it but it's impossible to be sick of a game that has yet to be released.

Nothing special for me. I wasn't looking forward to this game but this doesn't mean it's not a good one. It's just not my type of game. And you're right about FPS. Too much these days and this generation sucks except for some games. Resistance and COD4 were the only FPS that I enjoyed and I can't wait for Resistance 2. As far as story driven games go, MGS4 hands down(no contest) and Uncharted comes next, though the story was simple and short but it was a great adventure. Quadruple fail.
