Isnt anyone else getting a little bored of games now? im a gamer at heart, yet there hasnt been new genres or ideas for awhile. Most companies have been milking their games like activision, EA, etc. Sure there are still games to play but cmon! Im not quiting games of course, i just wont care as much. Anybody have the same feelings?

A while ago I hardly used my PS3 for gaming, it was only for movies and such..now it's purely for gaming..and I like it. xD

I can't imagine ever quitting gaming for good.

Your just getting Older, So games are not as interesting as they once were. Or maybe they did everything there is to do? Nah there will be another big interesting development in Gaming. It just might not happen until Xbox 5 or Nintendo 10 or Playstation 9. So try to hold on until then. I'm sure that PS3 will do something with the playstation move device? Hang in there... Sigh I know it can be hard sometimes.

Nope. There are still plenty of games I love. My PS3 collection is over 13 games now(I can't count them all I loaned out a few). I wish I had more time to just sit back and play them(I've only finished half so far).

Dont mean to sound rude at all, but are you kidding me? =P 2010 is rockin' with some of the industry's greatest games - FF13, Heavy Rain, God of War 3, just to name a few. Boredom is out of the question.. and time is more of a concern for me, as I dont have enough of it to play these games! =) I'm more concerned about all these gimmicks like 3D gaming and motion controls for PS3 and 360. That makes me *sigh*

That's gaming these days just like everything else, it's all about the money and you need a team of 500 to make a game and then it has to sell millions just to break even meaning experiments often become costly mistakes. But name checking EA I don't agree with, over the past couple of years they've put a lot of effort into their yearly games like FIFA and put out some good games like Dead Space too. It's been much improved compared to what they we're doing 10 years ago.

Bored? I am so excited about the new games. I can't wait to play GOW3 at the moment. Of course I am NOT bored. The last 6 months are my best since PS3 came out.

I've been gaming for over 20 years, so why would I wanna stop now?? I've had spells throughout my adolescense where other things got in the way like girls, drugs, music, and college.... But you know what? That's the stuff that gets boring. :P Gaming is an ever advancing form of entertainment, and it'll always be there for ya, bro!
