SIGH... What Time are you going to Gamestop?

I hate having to pick up these games at midnight but whatever. What time do you show up usually so you dont have to wait like you did for GTA IV?

It wasn't to bad actually. I had got to Gamestop at 11:30 and had GTA IV installed by 12:34 am that night.

But this one is PS3 exclusive while GTA was multi-platform. Think there will be more people or less?

I'm never going to gamestop. I hate preopened games considered "new". Not all new games are opened but I had problems with gamestop and I believe waiting till midnight to pick up a copy of a game is a waste of sleep. Just wait for the next morning or the following day.anewperfectday

You have to gut a game to put out because people steal stuff all the time. At my GameStop, people steal empty boxes, imagine if there were games in them! They would all be gone!

Im going at 7 or 8 in the morning the on thursday, i reserved it.

Well when i reserved the game they said they were out of the regular copys and i got one of the last collecter's ediion. For GTA i just walked in there during the day. so i think there will more people for MGS4 as crazy as that sounds

That would work in theory, but then we would have to print box art for 3,000 games. And we would need 3,000 game cases. And 3,000 Box Art saved into the computer. If you haven't noticed, the back of the promo boxes isn't the the same as what the real game has so that's another 3,000 game backs. Then multiply that by 3,700 GameStops and your looking at an unreasonable solution.

Anyway, I'll be going to pick up MGS4 at 9:30 AM on Thursday.

Bring the ad with you or tell them to look at the ad. They'll give you the ad, but if they ran out tell them that you want a rain check on that guide.

I buy alot of stuff from Circuit City (cause they have good deals when you buy new games), so let them know what it comes with.

I also want to buy it from them too, but have it pre-ordered at Best Buy. Which I won't be able to go because I work graveyard shift.

My wife will be picking up MGS 4 when she gets out of work.

I'm going to be there at 10:00 P.M.

Not @ midnight. I have never wanted to wait on a line at midnight for any game. As much as I love the MGS series and can't wait to get my hands on MGS4, I can wait for the game tomorrow afternoon. mrvic87
