I am so tired of all the talk about backwards compatibility. I don't know about you guys, but I waited a long time for PS# to come out. Why? Because I wanted to play next generation games. I am done with PS2! I no longer play PS2 games. It is out-dated. I don't even play San Andreas anymore, and I have a 60 Gig PS3. Sign here PS3 owners if you are letting go of the PS2 era, and aren't looking back!!!!

I have a 60gb because I wanted the b/c.

I don't even play my PS2 games anymore but just having the thought that I could play a wider range of games, makes me happy. :)

PS2 games are what I mostly play on my PS3...SOedipus

me too. after i finished uncharted I went back to replay GOW2 and DMC1 and # while I wait for number 4

And, I, sir, grow so very tired of hearing this same sort of nonesense from people of like mind. So, let me get this straight. Just because "you" (and a select few) don't care much for PlayStation 2 games, and just beacuse "you" (and a select few) don't care much for backwards compatibility we're not supposed too? Did you spend from upwards of hundreds, if not thousands of dollars on "our" PlayStation 2 games? No. You didn't. Right? Look. We bought these games with our hard-earned cash. Why? Was it was because it was the "in" thing? No. So, why did we buy them? Could it be... Oh, I don't know... Possibly because we actually take great enjoyment from them? It is our right, and priveledge to care about these purchases we made with our money. But, yet you would have us throw all that money away, just because "you" don't care much for them, much less for backwards compatibility. You must have a ton of money to throw away, to forget previous purchases, simply because something "more advanced" has come into the picture. Sorry. Some of us don't see it that way.darkangel_78589

well i grow tired of ppl who say they bought all these ps2 games and spent all this money like you say and it was because you cared just to end up getting rid of your ps2...well your actions tell me you DIDNT CARE! If you still own your ps2 well then shut up bc should have no concern to you since you can play it on your ps2. the only ppl whining about not having bc are those who got rid of their ps2's and now want to play the games again.

Well it would be nice for when I want to throw in some old Jak game or Ratchet and clank or something like that, but I dont play PS2 games that much anymore and when I want to play one I got my slim PS2 hooked up to my regular TV which is right beside my HD tv which has my PS3 hooked up to it, so I really could care less about Backwards compatibility.

Because people maybe had to sell all their old PS2 and PS1 games because their parents wouldn't let their kids mooch of them like they are used to? Then said kids had to sell their PS2 and PS1 games to get a PS3 and one game, and now they are a crying bunch of MCR loving people... Or maybe they are just not really the Hardcore gamers but only casual gamers. There could be SO many reasons. but i find it stupid that people start fighting over it. i mean, the TC even sounded like he was starting a group of Freedom Fighters, sounded so stupid.. he would make a great dictator some day :D lol. but i still find it pathetic that alot of people are actually going in to attack mode just because of something so meanigless as BC.
