Just wondering how many people still have standard televisions.

hows it look?
I'd assume like a PS2 game on SD...I had to play my PS3 on composite cables for a day and the experience was absolutely ruined. Funny, I was always a champion of HD not making a difference large enough to justify the $ spent. Now I can't go back.
how do I sign?Just wondering how many people still have standard televisions.

I'm getting one soon though.
I still have a SDTV. I will be buying a HDTV soon though.Dilrod
same here, though it dos look way better than PS2 lol
I do...it is unfortunate b/c if I buy one now, I'll only have it for a month before I leave for college. And I sure as hell ain't bringing my ps3 or a tv to college. It would definitely get stolen, so yea still SD. :(WongB
Same boat..:(
Standard Def. for me too guys. But I work at a video game store so I'll justhave my boss let take one of the HDTV's we have running onone of the interactives!(Just kidding for any of youLoss Prevention dwebes scouring the net for intel on theft and pirating.)ThePS3 looks so good on my 25'' SDTV though that I can't really justify going halfsies with poppa dukes on an HDTV until I can get aREALLY good deal on a REALLY good TV. I don't even think I know enough to make an educated and worthy purchase on one right now, but I do know it's gotta be1080p native w/ super white and black capabilty. Its gotta have an HDMI port (Isn't that standard on HDTV's now?) with an amazingly fast refresh rate (the time it takes for a pixel to gofrom one color to the next). On top of all of that though, and I know this might sound dumb to someone who knows HDTV's, butI'd rather go with a SONY brand HDTV with a 7.1 channel Dolby DigitalSONY brandsurround sound speaker system (Or maybe a BOSE surround sound system.) Heck, if I can afford it, I'll even get a SONY brand reciever for all that crap. And in the next decade when I'm finally finished connecting all the plugs and wires, I might even be able to get a SONY brand remote that'll turn it all on for me with one push of a button! Jesus, they ought to package that all up in one box, UPS or DHL it to your crib, install, test and optimize it in 1 hour and then let ya pay it on consignment (with a little interest of course but cheaper than it being purchased individually @retail!) Man, cheers to the stream-lined interactive digital interface of the future!
I do. To me HD just isn't worth the money. I can barely notice the improvement.espoac
Mannn you must haven't gamed in HD for to long. The difference is huge.
The picture is crystal clear and your movement(gameplay) seems so much smoother. I swear, you see alot of stuff you didn't notice while on SDTV....People always call me up during the weekends to play thePS3 on HDTV because its fantastic.
I have a standard 20" TV...but it has its own video channel dedicated to games, and a "GAME" picture mode...it's nice...
I would consider upgrading to a 20" HDTV, but the TV I just mentioned was given to me by my best friend and his fiancee...so I don't know. If I DO upgrade, I'll probably let my dad watch it...he has my old TV, and the picture SUCKS.
