well i have never played a silent hill game or yakuza and i am interested in playing both of them but for now i can only afford one which one should i get?

I have heard Yakuza is very good. Plus i think the little rpg elements could be really cool.

I have watched the silent hill movie and use to watch my friend play them but i really dont like the horror genre of games, but i would like to try this one.

Research each game & come to your own conclusion on which game is a must for you. It's that easy, Guy. Way better than asking one of us to tell you what to spend your own money on.

Silent Hill: To like those series you gotta like horror games(duh), if you played Resident Evil 1-3 and liked those, youre safe with any Silent Hill- pretty much the difference is a lot more of melee combat.

Yakuza: Which one? 1 or 2? Well, there aint a lot of differences from one another, but you should take 2 and rental it first- both are cool combat games with a lot of adventures and interesting stories but 2 has some sh*t that 1 doesnt have, if you care a lot for story- pick 1 first, if youre just looking for a good action-adventure title pick 2. Liked? Buy both them later on then.

You like to beat a lot of cr*p outta lots of people or outta weird, demons sh*t?

Yakuza or Silent Hill?

The story is what makes Yakuza a truly engaging experience so I would urge you to play them in the correct order. And if you're not partial to the horror genre then you might as well not purchase a game you may not enjoy.

The Yakuza games are around 20hrs in length and more if you the side missions which are pretty fun with some being fairly large and others being simple fetch quests.
