Silent Hill: Homecoming Review- IGN

To be honest, I am a bit disappointed, the game looks really good too. I'll just rent it! :D

IGN has no arguments to criticize the game. It looks like they want to make the game looks bad, but they cant', this game is great. So fuuuuuck IGN i'm still gona buy this game. Here is a example of the stupidity of IGN:

"6.5 GAMEPLAY:
While the combat system is extremely flexible and gives Alex a lot of different attacks to launch, it makes him way too skilled to take on the monsters of Silent Hill."

The character in this game is supposed to be a soldier, is he not? Should we expect him to be useless like James?

Here another big mistake of IGN:

8.0 SOUND:

"The only bad thing about the sound is that it feels too good for the game".

Hah, that's the first time i've heard that. "the only bad thing about the sound is that it feels too good for the game"....

play what you want. I don't always agree with reviews. I heavenly sword wasn't really that cool and mario galaxy way overrated. I thought shadow the hedgehog was good, but just dated and Lair was pretty fun once you got the hang of the levels. gamenerd15

But unless they're saying that he is way too skilled may mean the game has no challenge at all? if thats not the case then yeah I agree with you

I find it stupid that gameplay goes down cause the guy knows how to fight. I mean he was in the army WTF! Its understandible for the psat charcters to not be good at combats because they were average joes.finalfantasy94

Exactly, i saw the gameplay videos and... i'm impressed. There's a big variety of monsters, gameplay is good, the game looks atmospheric too...

so are u people still excited? i have played the game, my first day spent 2 hrs, since i had work, and believe me scores and reviews i seen wasnt even near wat i experienced, the games awesome, combat is good, love the dodging helps, and the atmosphere, man it send chills down my spine lol....sound is def. good

i felt like that playing silent hill 1 and resident evil 1 lol, those 2 were scary games when i was little, i had to have someone like my uncle whos also a gamer, at least sit through or help me play, i hated him durin my game play, he used to scare me or come out of no where and says, "BOOOO" i just threw my controller and ran away from the tv. but yea man i played homecoming today for 2 hrs, and let me tell u, i cant wait to play some more!
