Here we go again. Gamespot is late yet again with another anticipated PSP game review. Ptf. Whoever is incharge of PSP reviews could not be less excited about the PSP or its games. He's either probably to busy with the console games or he is a lazy bum that does not like to pick up his PSP.
You understand that this is the busiest time of the year, the PSP is not the biggest selling system out there and that a fairly small number of people are doing reviews of games across all systems, right?
metacritic.com already has a few reviews posted.... looks like its pretty good.... lowest score is a 75 and most are in the mid 80s out of 100. im thinking i'll probably pick it up.
No for a fact, Gamespot doesn't finish the games the review. For example, monster hunter 1 on the PS2, go look at all the pictures, it's all pictures from the beginning of the game (collect herbs, collect hides) etc. There were no pictures of other maps, nor new armors etc. It was the same armor, and hunter knife. So I guess by this, you can tell they tried it for about an hour, and gave up.
I've just spent about an hour playing and I LOVE IT! This is probably one of the best titles for the PSP and I would even go so far as to say it's my pick for PSP Game Of The Year. The sound is outstanding, the graphics are beautiful (for a dirty, rusted, bloody mess of a town) and the gameplay is top notch. If you like Silent Hill or even if you've only thought about trying out a survival-horror title, this is a must-buy.
