No no no... black is the Master of All Colours. It is the Absence of Light; the Melding of All Pigments; the Absorber of the Essence of Vision! It has all positive and negative things within its power. It is the Great Other that hovers behind all fear; all that goes bump in the night; all that slithers in the gap between reason and madness!
I may have gone for the blue, though I have no interest in the sports game that came with it. Then I realized it would still show fingerprints like the black one does. So silver would then indeed be nice. But they only come in certain bundles...so I've got a black one and while it's obnoxious to have to wipe the thing down every once in a while, the black does contrast nicely with the action on the screen.
I will be buying the black PSP-3000. I don't mind the fingerprints. It's not like it is hard to clean them off. My DS lite is also black and also shows fingerprints, but again, I don't care. I always try to clean my hands before playing my DS, I will do the same with my PSP.

The difference between the DS and PSP though, is that the fingerprints only appear on the exterior of the DS, meanwhile the fingerprints appear all over the face of the PSP, where all the buttons and the screen are. It's different.
No negative points aside from the fact that virtually every electronic device comes in silver. But you're entitled to your own opinion. The main reason that the psp has different colors out for it is because not everyone likes the same color.

It's different.It's not different for me. I don't touch my screen, so fingerprints on the screen isn't an issue for me. It's the same to me. And like I already said, I clean my hands before playing my DS so that I don't leave greasy fingerprints everywhere. It may be different for you because you touch your screen, but I don't. ;)
