I personally like Singleplayer better since it tells a story and you get more attached to the world. Your opinions?

Singleplayer as well. I think you're going to find that a common answer here.
That said I have put some serious hours into online PC games :P
single player. all multiplayer does is ruin games, mp should've stuck with pc only, it never had any business invading consoles..
I like both. Multiplayer just adds a lot more value to the whole game but there are games which singleplayer I am REALLY looking forward to like Resistance 3, Uncharted 3, Batman Arkham City and Assassin's Creed Revelations and I'm almost as equally excited for their multiplayer.
first player is more fun for me most of the time. Most people dont talk on psn so it feels like your playing by your self anyways.

I still know that I am playing others online and enjoy it because of that. If people talked, it would mostly cause issues. Anonymity causes too much dickery.

some times people talking can be a pain. Little kids , trolls and so on can be a big problem. Hell i cant count how many times have i heard What is love or snsd spamed on steam.
That being said its great to talk with people. Its great for team work and you can make new friends. No one talks on psn and when they do most of them have awful voice quilty it almost sounds like its being steam from a 56k modem.
I'm just reading comments here and they say that multiplayer is very boring compared to single player. I disagree. In multiplayer anything can happen, while in single player like Uncharted 2 (not dissing Uncharted in ANY WAY it's my fav franchise) you are just repeating the same things over and over again.
I have to go with SP. Multiplayer was fun for a few years but after that I realised the harsh truth about it... all you do is run in circles and shoot people on the same couple of maps over... and over.... and over...... and over, so on so forth.
It's a tie for me right now. Back when I had only a 360 I didn't have Xbox Live. So I bought all these fantastic JRPG, and other long games to get my money's worth. Never understood how fun multiplayer was until my 360 broke and I got the PS3 and PSN for free obv. I loved U2's single player and multiplayer equally, and I find myself doing that with most good games that have both options.

Maybe because I'm only in my first couple months of it, but even knowing what you just said is true I still find MP addicting as hell.
