Sony CEO Howard Stringersells rights of the Playstation brand to the open market.

"Although Microsoft was looking intobuying the company, Microsoft agreed that thecompany was a failure and was not worth the investement. They later gave the bid to Karl Albrecht, the founder of Aldi Grocer Inc. Karl believes there is still hope to the system and hopes that he can accomplish what Ken Kutakari couldn't.

Playstation a failure? you gotta be kidding me. ps1 and 2 both sold tremendously and ps3 just started 7 months ago and you're telling me Playstation is a failure?

whoever wrote that story is an idiot. since when is a grocer company gonna buy Playstation. i understand if they bought albertsons or something, but Playstation? you gotta be smarter than that if you want people to believe your lies.
