Siren: Blood Curse is awesome!! Why is it so overlooked??

I played the demo of Siren Blood Curse and IMO it's one of the best games out right now for the PS3. So why isn't it more popular?

This type of game is a breath of fresh air beause the PS3 has become the home of the shooters!!! lol..In essence SBC has taken survival horror back to it's roots because RE can't claim the survival horror crown anymore....it's more like an action shooter.

I played the demo and thought it was pretty cool, however I didn't care much for the atmosphere of where it took place... and the enemies... eh... Granted that shouldn't stop me from getting it... but the gameplay seemed a little too handicapped... no aiming the gun?

Idunno I just have my doubts but I'll have to look into it more after hearing the overall good impressions from others

Just create a secondary account, make it a Hong Kong one, and play the game while signed into PSN.

I just downloaded the US version, makes things easier. Siren Blood Curse is such an awesome game!!

Well the biggest turn off for me is that most of the characters are Americans in Japan. That's just lame. If it's a Japanese horror game give me Japanese characters. It just reminds me of all the bad Japanese horror remakes like Pulse and Grudge.DEVILinIRON

Personally I'm really liking the game. It's tense and original take on Survival Horror and one of best games in the genre I've played in a very long time. I even went out and bought the original Forbidden Siren games (it's a pity Siren 2 never got realised in the US, a shame for you guys), which are also great, if less accessible (Siren 1 in particular is hard as nails, Blood Curse practically holds your hand in comparison).

TBH that's your opinion. ;) I think it's a great reason. Oh yeah and the demo sucked. I'll just wait for the price to go down.

A lot of people also said Condemned 2 was great. I thought it was just mediocre and not scary at all. The first one was much better.

Well mine finally came in the mail today from Play-Asia. So once I get out of work, I'm going to be playing this bad boy. I know I'll enjoy it cause I thought the demo was pretty fun. Disc version takes up 5 gigs of HDD, so thought I would let you guys know the difference.Prisoner1137

It's like they just have large mandatory installs now for the sake of it. Really discouraging seeing this more often from Sony, not just third parties. It has a great horror presentation, but lets face it, it isn't pushing the system to new heights either. But games that are do not use such an install, which is why I will never understand this install business. It just seems flat out silly, and random.

but for me, I want that hard copy in my collection and it doesn't matter if it cost me extra 15 bucks for it. That's just me, I'm sure others have bought the hard copy (Bioshockownz and realistic44)
