for the first time...how much time does it has to be plugged to the PS3 ?

Not long at all ussually between 15 to 30 min and you are set... and 15-30 min while i was playing a game so maybe is faster alone?

takes about an hour and a half plugged in via USB to fully charge it.

when its plugged and i press the PS button, the battery is charging....will it show charged after unpluggin ?

wow for me it ussually takes like 30 min and it lasts for like 3 days (playing like 3 hours a day though)Ky0z

:lol: well charging from dead it take an hour and half and then i get a little under 30 hours of playtime till dead again..

yes you will see 3 bars instead of the continuous moving bar.

Lol no i dont think it shows its charged already just disconect and find out if is full... as for time charging guess i never let my controller die completely so i ussually record like 30 min charge time

actually the light on the controller will change to solid or right off (if the controller is off)

i will ask something else in this thread, instead of creating a new one...hum, the switch in the back....i really dont like to leave this kind of stuff turned on ( in this case Standby-mode) if i turn the switch off when not playing, and turn it on to play....will it harm the system ?

Not at all... that button think of it as the power brick switch ... just turn it off when there are electrical storms because if tehre is a short circuit in your house your PS3 will die :S... but if you turn it off is ok no worries
