sixaxis is unbreakable

I got really pissed at Motorstorm last night and threw my controller against the floor as hard as I could. It bounced off and hit two walls. Not a scratch or crack on it, and it still works perfectly. Anyone mange to break theirs yet?bored88

I will try not to throw any of my ps3 controller, no matter how annoyed or frustrated I am.

i've never thrown or did anyhting with my ps3 controllers or game, the only thing i would break is probably my head or something cuz when i get mad, i tend to slap myself accross the face because it's my fault for losing, not the game consolesddldave

I don't know why people say it's cheap and flimsy, it's clearly not. I like the lightweight and the controller is well built. R2 and L2 are even better as triggers and the Analog sticks have been improved. The only problem with Sony's dualshock design is the lack of ergonomic feel which would have been fixed with the boomerang, but people had to complain...G-Legend

Do you think Sony will release the "boomerang" as a special edition controller? It would be good if they do!

I'm currently serving 4 to 6 years in Clinton Correctional Facility for assault with a dual shock controller after my sister interrupted me in MGS3 while I was fighting The End. I wound up choking her friend untill she passed out from lack of O2 and the controller never worked again. Of course this is a lie, but if people are throwing $60 controllers around with reckless abandon then this scenerio isn't too far off. You need to make sure shes dead so she doesn't go to the cops and report you. It'll help if your sister is cool with itafexthedamaja

the worst ive done is just hold down the triggers hard or just smack them by leting go fast after holding down.... never thrown it... its childish and frankly very immaturePhoenix963

Threw my controller once. When i was on the last stage in VF5 the guy kicked my @$$. I usually dont throw my controller but that guy pissed me off. When I need to relese my anger its usually in multiplayer and its usually against each other...Deadly_Fatalis

Unfortunately, the SIXAXIS is not unbreakable...





Now, don't go thinking I threw it on the ground or anything... I found it under my foot-rest, I have couches that have recliners built in, I suppose it got caught and dragged underneath then got smashed by the foot-rest itself. Kinda misfortunate for me, especially since I think one of my friends did it. The controller still works even the motion sensing but the L1 and R1 buttons can move slightly forward and back.

i accidentally dropped my ps3. it plays games fine but some dvds don't work, but i don't care about that. the right side where the holes are kinda broke, half of it is hanging down. i was impressed on smash my ps3.com. it took them like 4 hits to do a considerable amount of damage to the ps3. it is put together very wellGokuja
