Sixaxis on the PC

If I were to plug in the USB cable from the controller into my PC, would i be able to use that as a pc controller?

I remember a while back on one of those playstation news sites, they had windows drivers for the sixaxis, but I don't think all the buttons were functional. Haven't really checked back on it since then, mainly because I don't have a PS3. But I think you need those drives or it might not do anything but charge.

The drivers make the controller fully functional for some people. I tried installing them but they didn't work, maybe because I'm running Vista.

Nice! Does anyone have a link for the drivers? I'd like to try the SIXAXIS on my PC for Psychonauts.

so where would i download these drivers. i have regular old XP and im not tryin to waste money on a PC controller if i can just use the sixaxis.

i put the drivers on my comp and they work perfectly.. the only thing that doesnt work is the tilt controll.. but still if fine

thanks for the link. ive been tryin to play some of my old racing games but its a hassle with the keyboard.

Sixaxis on my PC works like a charm. The only drawback to it is that, unless you turn off your controller or turn off the ps3 via master switch, it will turn your ps3 on once you unplug it from the computer because you have to press the PS button once you run the driver program.

i installed the driver and then i pressed the ps logo. on my games, it recognizes the controller but i cant change the buttons for the game. then when i actually start to play, it doesnt work at all. anyone know what to do?

You have to configure the buttons first. I had the same problem.
