skate. 2 - whatcha' think?

So what do you think?

Haven't played it myself, but I'm getting ready to soon.

I just wanted to be the first to make the topic, lol.

I love it. I also loved the original. I can't wait to play the full version.

Just got my new Gameinformer today and it got an 9/10 and recieved game of the month.

Wait, you can create femmes in the demo too?

'Cause that'd make me jump off my computer, throw all concern of this history paper that's due tomorrow out the window and run down stairs now.

It was alright, walking seems stiff, footplants no complys, and boneless are kinda weak. I like the first one better so far. But this demo was still fun.ricta123

Skate 2 is still on my 'must buy' list. I played the demo, like many of us have.

My first impressions were "whoa... this feels different" and "hm, how do I do all the new tricks?!"

It's really smooth, though. The frame rate as been improved. Even though the controls are still pretty much the same, it feels different somehow. Anyone know what I mean?

Stupid time limited demos!!! It's great nonetheless. I wanna buy this when it comes out!

this demo is massive at over 1700MB!

and yet i feel that the first skate. was wayy better :/
i was a little dissapointed with the look, and even the new controls... something just doesn't seem to 'click' like the original
it seems fake (even though it is a video game :P), but it didn't feel like skating was portrayed like it was with the first one :/
bummed me out, i've been waiting for this game forever!

BUT.. this is only a demo, and i am hoping the game is a different product
the controls seemed very stiff.. and it felt like they shifted towards more of a tony hawk vibe, which suckssss!!

i loved the first skate and yes this one seems better, but for some reason i really dont feel like forking out 40quid to buy it. Its nice and smooth and flows better
but does nothing to make it a must buy for me. Shame theres a time limit on the demo, could do with some more time with it. Il probs pick it up when it hits the bargain bins as it stands.
oh yeah and the walking is weak needs to feel more organic like the skating, just doesnt feel right going from gliding round the park on your board and getting off
as if all the muscles in your body dont work.

lmao, Nah. I'm a graffiti artist. I only really liked Mirror's Edge because of the color scheme, otherwise it was just a fun game, plus the story theme was very much similar to something I can relate to.

I just wanna know if there will be a real video in the beginning like the first game! That was great. And yes, I am buying it.Ultrabeatdown55

Lol, yeah I do skate, and where I live right now there is snow everywhere and below zero temperatures. So Skate is almost the perfect alternative to skateboarding for me, even though I try to go to a local skatepark as often as I can this time of year, never really got into the whole snowboarding thing either.ricta123
