i dont like stick controls in Skate 3 while Lost Planet 2 combat system needs tuning. I like Lost Planet 2 though because so far in the demo im dominating. who wants to play sometime? (or Skate 3 demo)
They're certainly no going to step anywhere near one-another as far as play time, being of completely different game genres... so both wouldn't kill you if you enjoy them, provided you aren't spending money you don't have like Jack coming home with the Magic Beans. Most of the time I just make sure I don't already have a stockpile of that given game genre waiting to be finished.
Neither. There's been so many wicked games in the last 2 months that are out idk for the life of me why you're looking at these games. No offense though.

Well... sounds like you enjoy playing "Skate" if you ran it to completion... I can see wanting to get#3 if you've accomplished everything in #2. I wouldn't put "Skate" in with the racing games, and I wouldn't put LP2 in with the R&C games, in terms of genre... so on the Monkey Scale, you're safe with both. But pick one, and put a little effort into knocking out some of the "older" titles in your collection.
You really SHOULD finish those R&C games, especially as you are such a big fan... don't you want to know what happens next to your favorite characters?
I finished ACiT, but not TOD yet. I need the ACiT plat. Waiting for my friends to come up to show off to them! I;ve got the perfectionst trophy in skate 2.
I votwed both but honestly, if I had to pick just one game than I would certainly pick up sklate 3. I have always enjoyed skateboarding games though so perhaps I am a bit biased.
I don't reckon there'll be enough change to the Skate formula to warrant a purchase, Lost Planet 2 on the other hand is an instant buy for me. Especially since one of the Editors of the site I write for has a very positive review up, and he's not easily impressed:
Although i know that Skate 3 won't be much different to the first and the second (because the second was just slightly better than the first), but still i love the series although there won't be much new to it.
I hated the LP2 demo. I loved the Skate 3 demo. Keep in mind I never really liked the first LP and I have never played a Skate game before. For what little you could do in the demo, it was a blast and I plan to buy it.
