if ur a PES fan then pes 2008. It's a great game, the only reason it didnt get a good mark on GS is because they are a bunch of fat Americans who care more about infinity game modes rather than the amasing pure gameplay which pro evo has. Seriously, its awesome, but feels a little bit weird at first. Skate is also decent.

Fifa is supposed to be better than Pro-Evo, this time around. If you a footie fan you will still be playing pro-evo when the next one comes out though
Neither are as good as they could have been IMO. Played both demo's, got neither game. I've played PES2008 at my mates house, and I wasn't impressed. Very glitchy, horrendous frame rates at some points. Skate, is good, but it gets repetitive after a while.
If you've got both demos though, surely you can make up your own mind.
