Wonderful News! Thank you for posting. My girlfriend's daughter is getting to the Witching Hour with her game save, so hopefully this smooths everything (major) out...
:)
yeah i heard u have to do this if u want to play on ur current save. after u download the patch load ur current save. then create a new save manually for it. then restart ur game and play. i think thats what it is.

Is all this prompted when doing the patch?
Thanks for the news. And I was just starting to get more lag than normal (at around 1.2MB).
Been waiting anxiously for this. But hopefully tomorrow everyone's not talking about some new kind of bugs that this patch will bring or create.
I've been playing about 40 hours and haven't experienced any major lag, but this is still good news.

cool.. let us know how it goes bro..well i think the lag is pretty much fixed. i tried a civil war quest and it didn't lag. but its still glitched like (invisible guards attacking). atleast it doesn't lag though.
its a step in the right direction atleast, the occasional invisible enemy i can deal with, i'll just pretend its an evil spirit.. lol this is skyrim afterall... the lag is the reason i haven't went near this game, and if thats fixed consider me on the skyrim bandwagon. :P
My experience was: slightly longer load times, but improved overall performance.
It also shrunk my file sizes by about 3 MB. Went from 12 to 9.
the upgrade log states a fix for thief armor bug preventing tonelia from giving the guild master armor ...
and a fix to allow the purify of revenge to start ... didn't test it yet but will try it soon.
I played some with it last night and it was running smoother, but I didn't play long enough to fully judge.
I'm hoping it'll work since I was starting to get some noticable lag earlier this week while grinding to get my smithing up.
[QUOTE="anime_gamer007"]Might go back to Skyrim but at this point, I've kinda moved on. Sorry, Bethesda, taking 3 months to fix a major problem that shouldn't have been there to begin with is ridiculous.JokerCB7Can't please everyone ... your lossNo, it's Bethesda's loss. They've lost me as a fan.

I had a minor freeze or two during the load screen, nothing that a soft reset didn't fix. Other than that, the patch is working pretty good so far.

Something tells me they couldn't care less if you play it. They already got your money.
