Well this is going to sound bad, but COD MW3. Ive played all of the other modern warfares and i may as well finish it. I really want all 3 though. I know skyrim and battlefield are going to probably be better games though.
Skyrim just for pure value. You could buy every single Call of Duty in existence and all of them put together wouldn't give you as much gameplay hours as skyrim, and it wouldn't be anywhere near as fun.shani_boy101
Over the past 3 years I have put around 50 days total play time in to CoD. That's 1200 hours. And I've had tons of fun doing it, up until recently.
Skyrim will be better. But CoD is endless as long as you like multi player.
Battlefield or Skyrim. Dont fall for the scam known as COD. WAY overrated;MANY greater titles out there.
If I could only get one:
Skyrim
I'm just more into RPGs than shooters.
Skyrim is a for sure thing. And I'll probably give BF3 a chance rather than another COD.
I'll try something different this year. I'm giving COD a break.
Skyrim will be my choice since it will last a very long time. I am getting BF3 and Uncharted 3 as well, since I don't have to just get one. :-) Not into Modern Warfare that much anymore because the Multiplayer plays like an Arcade game and not a tactics game. Battlefield series is much more my style were players work together to win the battle.ProxStudAmen to this.
Skyrim. Its my most anticipated game this year and probably of all time. I can't wait.
I might get one of the other 2 but I would probably pick MW3 because, unfortunately, I am awful at Battlefield and I'm decent at CoD and my friends play it. I do realize, however, that Battlefield is infinitely better.
Battlefield 3 is the only one I have pre-ordered. I will wait for Skyrim to drop in price before getting it.
Skyrim, it's been a much longer wait for another ES, and there havn't been many western rpg's of the same quality since Oblivion (wasn't a fan of the Fallout games).
Wow those 3 choices? 2 FPS games that are basically the same vs the awesomeness of Skyrim??!!!?? I would choose Skyrim.
BF3 and MW3 are entirely different. One's got a revolutionary (IMO) engine and new gameplay (as opposed to previous entries) whereas the other is DLC priced at $60.Wow those 3 choices? 2 FPS games that are basically the same vs the awesomeness of Skyrim??!!!?? I would choose Skyrim.

For me, it goes like this: Skyrim > Battlefield 3 >>>>>>>>>> Modern Warfare 3. While I know that MW3 will probably sell more copies than the other 2 games combined, I've always preferred the Battlefield series for my online multiplayer needs, and Oblivion is currently one of my favourite single-player games, if not my #1 favourite. All 3 games have lots of hours' worth of content, which is nice, but because of the sheer amount of stuff to do in Skyrim, it takes the spot as my personal most anticipated videogame release for the rest of this year (even outside of the 3 games mentioned in this topic), with other close contenders including Uncharted 3, RAGE, Arkham City, and the aforementioned Battlefield 3. As for Modern Warfare 3, I understand why it's so popular, and even I still play Black Ops online with my friends sometimes, but the previews I've seen of MW3 really look nearly identical to MW2. In fact, Idon't even know if I'll be getting that game - the only thing that intrigues me about it is the new co-op survival mode, which basically sounds like a more fun version of zombie mode, since there'll be a greater variety of enemy types.
Out of those 3 I would go with Battlefield 3. But I would much rather play the new Elder Scrolls game coming out in November.Lostboy1224
Um, Skyrim IS the new Elder Scrolls game coming out in November. If you already knew this, your comment makes no sense.
UCHARTED 3!!!Vanillamarble
This!
But if I had to choose from the three, Skyrim hands down. No contest.
I've already preordered BF3: Limited edition, but I'm also getting Skyrim. Not sure if it's gonna be day 1 though.
