Skyrim Freezing Constantly

The game has many, many technical problems. Cross your fingers and hope Bethesda manages to patch it.

as said above the game does have a lot of problems at the moment. try starting a new game and if it doesnt freeze then the problem is the game save. if it is your game save you will have to wait until another patch is out that hopefully fixes whatever is crashing your game at your save point

hard to beleave even after the big bad patch bethesda was assuring would fix this failed mess of a game people are still having issues this severe with it.. i'm starting to wonder if this game even IS fixable...

Having the exact same problem. Very irritating.

Started having the same thing. Froze twice yesterday, & once over the weekend. I wouldn't mind too much, but the console has to check/restore the file system every time Skyrim crashes now, & I've never seen that before in the 3 years I've had my PS3.

don't worry about the console restore i think that was add with the update because everytime my ps3 freezes it gets that message

same here, for me the game startd freezing after the patch and was almost unplayable but for same reason it has stopped freezing but the framerate has become worse that when what it previous was before the patch...

Solution: Buy Dark Souls.

The guys who made New Vegas say that it isn't ever going to work...on the PS3 at least. Sawyer said there's a problem with the way the engine works and the way the PS3 splits it's RAM.
